My Truth Project consisted of an excerpt from the tv show This American Life. The clip featured an extremely large group of people gathered in the Mojave Desert. The people set up umbrellas and chairs and wait there until the sun goes down. Throughout the day, they use Polaroid cameras and take pictures aimed directly at the sun. The people are looking for a sign from God in the developed pictures, and sometimes they believe they see holy images, such as Jesus, Mary, and stairs to heaven. Most of the time, however, nothing notable appears in the pictures.

This event reminded me of the philosophy of Hume. Hume did not believe in God, but held open the possibility that one exists.
